Its not just a matter of whether it is offensive to the visitors, but google appropriateness, effectiveness and image. I did not turn off ads for contraceptives because people will find it offensive, but because I block an investment related website is an effective placement. The main reason that I would like to remove dating and gambling ads is that they look bad on my site - even if people have seen them on another site.
