$1 MPCs for the series 461 are very generic looking. They have an eight digit serial number. The rest of the design is simple. It mostly just states the denomination and “for use only in united states military establishments by united states authorized personnel in accordance with applicable rules and regulations.” The design will also have another number on it that is somewhere between 1 and 84. That is the position number. It never really affects the value. However, it is good to know what those numbers are.
