One dollar military payment certificates from the series 472 are extremely common. Most are worth a couple bucks. However, there are some rare varieties. For example, if your note has a serial number under 100 then it should be worth a nice premium. Also, if the serial number does not end with the letter C, then you have a replacement. It will be especially rare. An error note would also command a premium. It is nice that varieties exist. Otherwise this would be an especially boring note. The design is extremely simple. It has text on the front and back that reads “for use only in united states military establishments by united states authorized personnel in accordance with applicable rules and regulations.” Contact us if you have a replacement or other oddity.
