All series 521 one dollar military payment certificates should have a serial number that begins and ends with the letter E. 521 notes are the fifth series of MPCs issued, and E is the fifth letter in the alphabet. That is not a coincidence. If your serial number does not end with E, then you have a replacement. Replacements are rare. One dollar MPCs are the tallest notes from the series 521. The front of each notes says “for use only in united states military establishments by united states authorized personnel in accordance with applicable rules and regulations.” Contact us if you need pricing help.
