Ten dollar notes are the highest denomination issued for series 541 military payment certificates. As we have established, the higher the denomination, the more likely the MPC was to be faked. 541 $10s are no exception. These also have a fairly unique design compared to early military payment certificates. The back has a portrait of a girl. The front reminds me a lot of an American Express credit card. I think it is just the general color scheme and the Greek figure that helps give off that vibe. The front and back of each series 541 $10 MPC says “for use only in united states military establishments by united states authorized personnel in accordance with applicable rules and regulations.” These are often worth pretty decent money.
