If you only remember one military payment certificate, you should focus on the series 541 five dollar MPC. It is generally considered to be the rarest and the key to the regular issue series (some replacement notes are far rarer though). A lot of designs for military payment certificates kind of all run together, but the 541 $5 note really stands out. The pink, green, and yellow colors all really pop. The profile of the laureled man is also a little bit different. And of course the front and back still has text that reads “for use only in united states military establishments by united states authorized personnel in accordance with applicable rules and regulations.” We are very aggressive buyers of any 541 $5 MPC. Please contact us if you have one for sale.
