There is nothing terribly special about series 591 one dollar military payment certificates. The design really isn’t interesting and the coloring is a bit of a retread. The text “for use only in united states military establishments by united states authorized personnel in accordance with applicable rules and regulations” is written on the front and back of each $1 MPC, which is of course standard for the entire series. These were all printed in Boston, Massachusetts by Forbes Lithograph Corporation. After that they were shipped all around the world. Please contact us if you need help valuing yours.
