Five cent military payment certificates are the smallest denomination issued for the series 591. As you can see from our value guide, these just aren’t going to be very valuable, even in perfect condition. The front design is exactly like the other fractional MPCs from 591, it says “for use only in united states military establishments by united states authorized personnel in accordance with applicable rules and regulations.” There is also a small black number (between 1 and 84) printed on the front of each note. That is the position number, but it doesn’t help or hurt the value on any occasion. Contact us if you need help pricing this issue.
Want to Sell Your MPC Currency? We can’t help you value your military payment certificates over the phone. However, if you send us pictures of what you have then we will respond back quickly with some accurate values. We are also buyers in most cases. Sales@AntiqueMoney.com
