Gold certificates of the $20 denomination from 1906 and 1922 are usually fairly common. They were printed by the millions and thousands still exist. George Washington is the central portrait on each bill. Examples in perfect condition can be worth several hundred dollars or more. Most bills are circulated and worth between $75 and $200. The serial number on these types of gold certificates can be important. Low numbers (like 100 or lower) add a premium, as do notes with a star symbol in the serial number.
We are looking to buy 1922 $20 gold certificates. Please contact us if you have one or some for sale.
