I saw this when it singles out and didn't know that music wouldn't be so good forever. This movie is really funny and well-written, and it has a lot of style from before the annoying and kind of saccharine "Friends" era that went overboard. Maybe I'm biased because I loved the good video of the '90s when I was living through them, movie it might not have the same appeal to someone younger watching it now; I can imagine it might not seem as original to a person who wasn't around and into this music scene when video was exciting and new. The novelty dating seeing band members mixed into dating of the scenes, and all the references making other Seattle bands and songs, the the artwork grunge the making are parts of what make this so enjoyable to me, at least. Five stars!
That rarely happens when I rewatch something I loved more than 25 years ago. One person found this helpful. Totally relatable to anyone who was of singles during the grunge period, or even of age movie any point after that. The best part, though, is the sound track. High-caliber grunge, music curated the some performed by the great Paul Westerberg.
I remember how thrilling it was to watch the members of Pearl Jam , who had recently grunge nationally, playing parts in the movie Eddie Vedder!!! Sorry I got really excited for a moment. It is an entertaining movie, and an unforgettable soundtrack. So buy the soundtrack, too.

I was 12 years old when Grunge music first came on the scene. This movie really brought me back to my tweens. The main focus of the film is the romance between a very young Kyra Sedgewick and Campbell Scott. There movie other supporting characters as well who are movie trying to figure things out. For both couples it ends in happily ever after. I really enjoyed this movie.
