$500 Bill Values
The United States issued five hundred dollar bills for the series of 1928, 1934, and 1934A. Believe it or not, these $500 bills actually circulated freely in commerce until the late 1960s. When dealing with five hundred dollar bills, you want to look for serial numbers under 100 or serial numbers that end with a star symbol. 1928 star notes are especially rare; 1934 stars are still rare.
